Dmitry Osipov participates in the plenary session of the V Moscow International Chemical Forum

Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali (the Company; Moscow Exchange: URKA) CEO , took part in the plenary session “State Priorities for the Development of the Chemical Industry of Russia”, held within the V Moscow International Chemical Forum.

A number of topical issues were discussed during the event, including raw materials supply and the main development areas of the oil, gas and chemical industry, industrial environmental policy of Russia, as well as a comparative analysis of the environmental and industrial safety indicators of the domestic chemical industry relative to the world’s leading countries.

Dmitry Osipov delivered a report on the theme “The impact of state support measures on investment projects”, in which he outlined the main points of the positive impact of state support, in particular special investment contracts, on the mechanism of interaction between local government bodies and large industrial companies.

Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali CEO, commented:

Special investment contracts, no doubt, are an effective way of interaction between regional authorities and commercial entities, enabling both sides to stimulate the social and production components of their activities. We are always open for dialogue and are glad that Uralkali is one of the first companies in the region to have implemented this cooperation format.
