Uralkali Targeted Admissions Programme Results in 2015

16 school graduates from Berezniki and Solikamsk will study at the Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU) and the Berezniki Branch of the PNRPU as part of the Uralkali targeted admissions programme. The selected students will study the following subjects: Inorganic Substance Chemical Engineering, Mine Surveying, Mining Electrification and Automation, and Production Machines and Equipment. The winners of the contest were determined on the basis of the students’ Unified State Exam (USE) results. The applicants’ total USE scores across the three disciplines ranged from 180 to 245.

Targeted admissions students receive a range of benefits from the Company. Uralkali will provide them with a monthly maintenance grant amounting to 2,000-10,000 roubles, provided that they achieve strong results. Students will gain practical experience in the Company’s underground and surface facilities and use the collected material for their coursework and theses. Upon graduation, the students will receive a guaranteed job offer from Uralkali for a position that corresponds with their chosen degree.

Ruslan Ilyasov, Uralkali Human Resources Director, commented:

The graduates made the right choice. Uralkali provides all of the necessary resources for professional growth. The Company is a global industrial giant, a leader in the potash sector, and the largest enterprise in the Perm Region. I am confident that we will continue to provide young people with the opportunity to fulfil their ambitions and complete projects.

Uralkali’s targeted admissions training programme has been running for more than 6 years. Each year, the Company invites all school graduates from Berezniki and Solikamsk to apply. Successful graduates are employed by the Company as technical engineers, foremen, mechanical engineers, power engineers and electrical engineers.
