Uralkali’s Head of Antimonopoly and Trade Law, Azamat Abdulmenov, was named the winner in the “Development of Anti-Monopoly Compliance” category at the Compliance 2015 awards at the end of February 2016.

Presenting the award, the organisers noted that the award serves as recognition from the expert community of the Company’s efforts to introduce an anti-monopoly compliance system. Uralkali was one of the first Russian companies to successfully implement this type of system. As one of the leading potash producers in the world, the Company pays particular attention to compliance with applicable anti-monopoly laws and always adheres to international best practice in this field.

The compliance award has been presented annually since 2011 and is awarded to specialists and executives from financial institutions and leading industrial companies who demonstrate advanced skills in the development and application of compliance best practice. The organiser of the award is ICS, an exclusive partner of the International Compliance Association (ICA) in Russia and the CIS.
