Uralkali Became a Partner of Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum

Uralkali PJSC (the “Company”; MICEX: URKA), one of the largest producers of potash chloride in the world, became a partner of the 20th anniversary Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2016) currently held in Saint-Petersburg. The company is presented at the Forum by Director General Dmitry Osipov, who on June 17 will participate in the work of the panel session called Realizing the Economic Potential of Russia with the topic Russian Industrial Production — Moving Up the Value Chain.

Additionally, Uralkali PJSC together with URALCHEM United Chemical Company OJSC presented their booth at the forum where using interactive multimedia stand the visitors can get acquainted with the relevant information about the companies and their products. The joint delegation of the companies is headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of URALCHEM United Chemical Company OJSC and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uralkali PJSC, Dmitry Mazepin. Along with Director General of Uralkali PJSC, Dmitry Konyaev, Director General of URALCHEM United Chemical Company OJSC is engaged in the work of the Forum.

Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is a unique event in the world of economics and business. During the last decade the Forum became the leading world communication site for businesses and discussion of key economic issues faced by Russia, developing markets and the world in general. More than 10,000 people from Russia and abroad visit the Saint-Petersburg International Economic Forum. They include heads of states and governments of developing countries, management of largest companies, and leading world experts in science, mass media and civil society. SPIEF was established in 1997. From 2006, SPIEF is conducted under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation.
