Uralkali opens its Corporate University

In Solikamsk, the opening of Uralkali’s Corporate University has taken place. The opening ceremony was attended by Gennady Tushnolobov, Chairman of the Government of the Perm Territory, Aleksey Fedotov, the Head of Solikamsk administration, Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali CEO and Ruslan Ilyasov, Uralkali HR Director.
The new building of 1800 square meters comprises computer classes, training and conference rooms, theoretical teaching classes, the library and teaching rooms, and a class of underground-transport equipment. It is planned to install two models of continuous miners worth about 100 million roubles for the training of rock removing machine operators.
The Corporate University will enable training of the Company’s employees in accordance with 250 educational programmes, with a variety of training formats.

Uralkali has always paid great attention to the development of its employees, because only a competent team of professionals can lead the Company towards new victories. The opening of the University is another victory for the Company and an important step into the future: from now on, either each employee of Uralkali Group or Verkhnekamie resident have a great opportunity to receive special education, to improve their skills, to learn new careers demanded in the labour market of our region, to upgrade their labour grades and qualifications.
The educational license of the Corporate University now includes more than 250 programmes in various areas: learning new skills, upgrading the labour grades, qualifications, etc. As of today, Uralkali trains about 12,000 employees of the Group; more than 1,500 people learnt new careers in 2015.
In 2016, Uralkali has allocated about 27 million roubles to support the University’s operation. Next year, the Company plans to spend about 34 million roubles for this purpose.
