Uralkali is the general sponsor of the Khimia-2016 exhibition

Uralkali (the Company; MICEX: URKA), in association with JSC Uralchem, is the general sponsor of the 19th International Exhibition of Chemical Industry and Science Khimia-2016, held from 19 to 22 September in the Central Exhibition Complex Expocentre (Moscow).

The Company has taken part in the exhibition since 2011. This year Uralkali, the leader in the production of potash fertilisers, has prepared a high-tech stand together with Uralchem, where visitors can learn up-to-date information about the Company’s operations and product line. Specialists working at the stand will answer questions of industry experts, representatives of relevant ministries, agencies and professional societies.

The central event of the business programme is the IV Moscow International Chemical Forum. This is a key international business event, involving representatives of leading industrial enterprises of the chemical and petrochemical industries. The event is organised by JSC Expocentre, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Chemists and other organisations.

The Khimia exhibition has been held since 1965 and is one of the most prestigious international industry exhibitions. The event promotes supply of modern equipment and advanced technology to the Russian market necessary for the production of competitive chemical products; it also helps domestic producers study the demand in international and domestic markets and manufacture products sought after in all sectors of the economic complex of the country.

In 2016, the exhibition is attended by representatives of more than 250 companies from 14 countries.
