The main topic of discussion at the forum was the creation of a unified engineer training system for industrial enterprises. As part of the Schumpeter Readings 6th International Scientific and Practical Conference, heads of large industrial enterprises, scientists and HR specialists exchanged their experiences in the recruitment of qualified employees, training of engineers in collaboration with higher education institutions, as well as strategic preparation of their future workforce. Ruslan Ilyasov, Uralkali HR Director, delivered a report at the conference.

Uralkali has participated in the Forum since its first edition in 2014. The Engineering and Industrial Forum in Perm is organised at by the Government of the Perm region. This year, in addition to scientific conferences, expert sessions and panel discussions, the forum featured the qualifying stage of the Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia) Perm regional championship. The most entertaining event was Robot Wars, which was held in accordance with international BattleBots rules.
