The 13th Social and Cultural Projects Contest of Usolsky municipal district reaches its conclusion

15.12.2016

The Social and Cultural Projects Contest, supported by Uralkali, aims to identify socially meaningful initiatives among the NGOs and municipal institutions of the Usolsky municipal district. This year, 16 projects have been named as winners.

Among them are the “Scarlet Beads” and “Together We Are Strong” projects aimed at supporting veterans from remote settlements in the Usolsky district and helping disabled people become more active. A number of projects have been set up to support youth associations and to develop sightseeing and tourist activities. The developers of the “We Want To! We Can! We Do!” and “Welcome to the Fairy Tale” projects strive to “preserve spiritual, moral and family values, including in families with disabled children”.

During the event, the creators of the projects implemented through Uralkali grants presented the progress of their work so far.

Konstantin Beloglazov, General Director of Uralkali-Remont, Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm region, commented:

The Company strives to communicate constructively with local communities. The long-standing social partnership between Uralkali and the Usolsky municipal district is aimed at creating a comfortable environment and improving the living conditions of the population. I am sure that the Uralkali grant programme supporting the Social and Cultural Projects Contest has helped to identify the potential for improving the territory of the municipality, which will make it even more prosperous and attractive.
