17.11.2017

Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali (the Company, Moscow Exchange: URKA) CEO, took part in the meeting of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and the Minister of Commerce and Industry of India Suresh Prabhu. He also attended the round table with Mr. Prabhu, organised by the All-Russia Public Association Delovaya Rossiya (Business Russia) and dedicated to Russian-Indian cooperation.

Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali CEO, commented:

Traditionally, India has been one of the major markets for Uralkali’s MOP. The Company is engaged in active cooperation with Indian partners as far as it relates to the increase in the quantity of potash fertilisers applied to the soil. We discussed promising initiatives with the Minister as part of measures to improve the nutrient balance of the soil. In our opinion, many of them will have a positive impact on the quality of agricultural products.
