Uralkali Board Decisions

Uralkali (the Company; MICEX: URKA), one of the world’s largest potash producers, announces the key decisions taken by its Board of Directors at a meeting on 12 April 2017:

  • Uralkali’s Board of Directors approved the Company’s 2016 Annual Report to be published in Russian and English;
  • the Board resolved to convene the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (“AGM”) in Berezniki (Perm Territory) on 20 June 2017 and to approve the AGM’s agenda; and also set the record date for determining the persons eligible to participate in the AGM on 26 May 2017;
  • the Board recommended the AGM not to pay dividends for 2016;
  • the Board resolved to propose to the AGM to approve the appointment of CJSC Deloitte & Touche CIS as the auditor of Uralkali’s IFRS consolidated financial statements and the appointment of JSC Energy Consulting/Audit as the auditor of the Company’s RAS financial statements.
