26.09.2018

Uralkali became a hosting partner of the 4th interregional exhibition of modern technologies and equipment for the extraction and beneficiation of ores and minerals “Rudnik 2018”, which is being held at the Permskaya Yarmarka exhibition centre in Perm, Russia, from 26 to 28 September 2018.

The Company’s exhibition display features a description of its main products, mining and beneficiation technologies, and the latest scientific achievements in the potash industry.

The programme for the exhibition’s last day, September 28, includes a round table discussion hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Perm Territory, the Regional Engineering Centre, and VNII Galurgii, a design institute of the Company. The purpose of the round table is to attract the R&D and technical expertise of local companies to meet the demands of Uralkali.

Eduard Smirnov, Uralkali Subsoil Management Director, commented:

This specialised exhibition is a very effective platform for a further expansion of commercial, research and technical cooperation. It is an opportunity to discuss an extensive agenda, to establish and enhance contacts with suppliers and manufacturers of cutting-edge equipment used in the potash industry, as well as with representatives of the research and design community.

Alexander Kulbitsky, Uralkali Procurement Director, commented:

The round table for Uralkali’s potential suppliers and service providers will continue the efforts of our procurement directorate to implement the regional policy aimed at increasing the participation of local companies in the supply of high-tech products and services. Expansion of contacts with local suppliers will enable the Company to follow the import substitution policy and support small and medium-sized businesses based in the Perm Territory.
