Uralkali Raises Employee Salaries

04.12.2020

In accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors of the Company the salaries of Uralkali Group employees will be increased by 3.5%. This adjustment will apply to the salaries of more than 20,000 employees across Uralkali Group from 1 December 2020.

The decision to adjust salaries took into account the official consumer price index in Perm Region, in addition to market analysis and workforce productivity.

In 2019, Group salaries were raised by 3%.

Vitaly Lauk, Uralkali CEO, commented:

As one of the most attractive employers, both in the Perm Region and in Russia as a whole, Uralkali reviews and adjusts its employees’ salaries on an annual basis. Salaries are adjusted in compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, which in 2020 was extended for a further 3-year period.

This year, in spite of the spread of COVID-19 and the global economic downturn, the Board of Directors of the Company has decided to proceed with this year’s salary adjustment, affirming the consistency of Uralkali’s policy on social responsibility and sustainable development.
