Uralkali Joins UN Global Compact

Uralkali (the Company), one of the world’s leading potash producers, has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, which aims to implement sustainability principles to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The UN Global Compact is a voluntary initiative that encourages its participants to adhere to a set of ten universal sustainability principles, focusing on upholding internationally proclaimed human rights, and promoting the preservation of the environment, responsible labour practices, and anti-corruption.
The compact has over 13,000 signatories in more than 160 countries, and a number of local networks including in Russia, which encourage further collaboration in corporate sustainability at a country level.
