Uralkali and RusTransCom Announce Strategic Partnership and Sign Cooperation Agreement

Uralkali (the Company), one of the world's largest potash producers, and RusTransCom LLC (RusTransCom) announce a strategic partnership and the signing of a Cooperation Agreement. The agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Vitaly Lauk, Uralkali CEO, and Aleksey Gribanov, RusTransCom First Vice President.

As part of the strategic agreement, the parties agreed to collaborate in order to ensure timely shipment and transportation of growing volumes of Uralkali products in RusTransKom hopper cars, as well as to identify other potential areas of cooperation.

Vitaly Lauk, Uralkali CEO, commented:

For many years, RusTransCom has been a reliable partner of Uralkali. The average volume of Uralkali products transported by RusTransCom is about 1.5 million tonnes per year with prospects to increase the volume to 2 million tonnes per year in 2021. The agreement will improve the efficiency of logistics processes, as well as guarantee timely delivery of the Company's products to costumers.

Aleksey Gribanov, RusTransCom First Vice President, commented:

We have carried out over 70,000 freight deliveries for Uralkali from early 2018 to April 2021. Over the next five years, if the baseline scenario is implemented, we plan to provide transportation of 10 million tonnes or 143,000 carriages.
