30.01.2023

The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) again included Uralkali in the list of Russian leaders of sustainable development, corporate responsibility and reporting. For its performance in 2022, Uralkali retained its Group A ranking (which is the highest group) in two ESG indices: Responsibility and Openness and Sustainable Development Vector.

The Responsibility and Openness index analyses the quality of corporate social responsibility disclosures and identifies priority directions for further development of sustainability practices, while the Sustainability Vector index assesses the environmental and social performance history of the participating organisations.

RSPP has been running its sustainable development, corporate responsibility and reporting indices since 2014. The main purposes of the initiative are to create tools for an independent performance review of leaders of the Russian business, to promote a systemic perception of sustainable development and corporate responsibility, and to improve transparency and governance of ESG activities. Since 2017, RSPP’s indices have been included in the international database of ESG rankings and indices.
