Uralkali Awards the Best Efficiency Proposals from Employees

Uralkali completed its traditional annual review of efficiency and inventive proposals submitted by employees in 2022.

In total, 47 employees across different facilities of Uralkali submitted their proposals last year as part of the corporate contest called “The Initiative”. A special commission selected 41 proposal for adoption. 22 employees received letters of commendation, and 5 employees were named the best active participants of the contest.

Efficiency-improving and inventive proposals were assessed under two categories. Berezniki-2 was named the best organiser of efficiency and inventive activities, while the diploma of the best active participant went to Pavel Lesnikov, an energy manager in the surface mining shop of the production directorate who submitted six proposals to improve production processes.

Uralkali supports and encourages technical ideas from employees. Efficiency improvement and inventions are an important mechanism to involve our specialists in processes, which help to improve operating efficiency and labour productivity, and also to reduce environmental impacts of our activities.

From 2018 to 2022, Uralkali adopted 1,136 proposals from its employees. In total, around RUB 23 million were paid as remuneration to authors and inventors.
