Uralkali to Develop Housing for Employees in Solikamsk

20.12.2019

The second phase of construction of the Rubin residential complex in Klestovka District was launched today. Uralkali plans to build two new nine-story apartment buildings with 175 flats designated for the Company’s employees.

The residential district being developed by Uralkali will comply with the highest European architectural standards. The housing project will incorporate a total of four nine-story buildings with 350 apartments as well as sports grounds and recreation areas for both children and adults.

Additionally, the proposed project includes a bicycle storage area as well as a high-capacity car park around the perimeter of the complex. The technology used in building the houses, namely the cast-in-place concrete frame, will enable future owners to reconfigure and restyle their apartments, should they wish to do so, as well as enhance the usable area of their homes.

Aleksey Fedotov, Head of Solikamsk City District, commented:

I am delighted to see that as a socially responsible employer, Uralkali is developing residential housing in Solikamsk. For the first time in many years, we are going to witness a comprehensive development project of an entire district. Uralkali is not just building houses with a unique design, but will also develop the landscape around them and equip the adjacent territories to a new level of quality standards for Solikamsk. I am confident that the new residential complex will not only be an ornament for our city but will bring great joy to all its future residents.

Dmitry Osipov, Uralkali CEO, commented:

Developing Uralkali’s own housing programme for our employees is amongst the Company’s social priorities. The Rubin complex will be the first residential district in Solikamsk to be built in compliance with modern architectural concepts for development and urban beautification.
