Children

Many of our employees joined the company following their parents and grandparents. In the Uralkali Museum it is possible to trace the history of several dozen dynasties of potash workers. We are sincerely grateful to the people for their loyalty and aim to maintain this by creating favourable conditions for the younger generation.

Angela GUSEVA, specialist in the Staff Rotation Department:

I was attracted by the opportunity to send my son to the seaside in Bulgaria. I am glad that a big part of the trip to the International Youth Centre is paid by the Company. The organisation of activities is also great. Children are accompanied by experienced teachers, and they not only have a rest and recuperate but also learn about another culture and gain new experiences.

For more information on the programmes for children see the Careers section.

Young people

Uralkali creates an effective and multi-level system of training and retraining of highly qualified specialists for the potash industry.

Since 2010 the Company has given financial scholarships to students of Berezniki Polytechnic College (BB PNRPU) and Solikamsk Mining and Chemical College. To be awarded a scholarship, students must show academic excellence, have a positive reference from their work placement and actively participate in the social life of the College.

In March 2013 Uralkali held a competition for places at Perm National Research Polytechnic University. The Company awarded the winners a monthly scholarship and the possibility of practical training at its industrial sites, as well as guaranteed employment upon completion of their studies.
