Uralkali discloses the indicators of social, economic and environmental aspects of its activities in accordance with the guidelines established by the fourth generation of the Global Reporting Initiative GRI G4 and GRI Mining and Metals Sector Supplement. The Report meets the A+ GRI level.

Application of the GRI reporting system is the most complete, yet concise and accessible way to present the approaches to and results of the Companys activities to all key stakeholders and ensures comparability of the information provided with reports of other leading international companies.

Priority themes and key issues disclosed in the Report were selected on the basis of the following criteria:

  • particular importance in implementation of the strategy and individual policies of the Company;
  • significant impact on the operating results of the Company or its business model;
  • presentation of the expectations and interests of the stakeholders;
  • economic, social and environmental impact on local communities and areas where the Company operates.

The Report covers a wide range of issues, including key events in the reporting period, occupational health and safety, activities to protect the environment, personnel development, social and charitable activities, development of the regions where the Company operates and interaction with stakeholders.
