Uralkali funds installation of video surveillance systems in Solikamsk schools

Uralkali has provided over RUB 1 million for the installation of video surveillance systems in Solikamsk schools. In total, 76 CCTV cameras, monitors and recording devices have been installed in 10 secondary schools.
Video surveillance systems have been installed in the entrance halls of comprehensive and grammar schools. They provide online monitoring, which helps increase the level of safety in schools.
Sergey Yakutov, Head of the Production Department at Solikamsk-3, PJSC Uralkali, and Solikamsk Duma Deputy, commented:
Uralkali strives to make a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the cities where it operates and create favourable living conditions for its employees and their families. Video surveillance systems will create safer conditions for children and adolescents in educational institutions.

Ensuring a safe and comfortable learning environment for children is an important objective at present. Thanks to the support from Uralkali, we have been able to install video surveillance systems in all of the town’s educational institutions.
Since 2014, Uralkali has spent about RUB 11.5 million on the installation of video surveillance systems and turnstiles in schools in Berezniki and Solikamsk.
