Uralkali to Upgrade Public Transport in Berezniki

Uralkali (a part of Uralchem Group), one of the world’s leading producers of potash, signed an agreement with the Government of the Perm Region to update the fleet of public transport vehicles in Berezniki. The signing ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Perm Region Dmitry Makhonin and Uralkali’s CEO Vitaly Lauk.
The agreement aims to increase the quality, accessibility and convenience of public transportation in Berezniki and provides for a renovation of the town’s bus fleet.
The Company will contribute RUB 300 million to the fleet upgrade, while the regional administration will provide necessary assistance to the Company and local authorities to implement the agreement.
