Dmitry Osipov Participates in the «Mineral Fertilizers-2019» conference

Dmitry Osipov, CEO of Uralkali (the Company; Moscow Exchange: URKA), one of the world’s largest potash producers, took part in the business program of the XII International Conference “Mineral Fertilizers-2019”. The conference was held in Perm, Russia on 15th November 2019 with support from the Governor of Perm Region, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia and Creon Capital Company.

Current market trends, outlook for the global and domestic fertilizer market and pricing were among the key topics discussed at the conference. Participants also considered state measures aimed at supporting the fertilizer sector, such as favourable railway tariffs for fertilizer producers and antitrust regulation of the industry.

During the plenary session, Dmitry Osipov spoke on digitization and its prospects for the sector as well as the implementation of new cutting-edge solutions and systems to increase production efficiency.

A ‘digital twin’ system of the mine coupled with a specialized communication system will enable to optimize repairs and better manage our facilities and resources.
