Uralkali Launches Summer Health Promotion Campaign

Uralkali (the Company), one of the world’s largest potash producers, has today launched a summer health promotion campaign for the children of its employees. It has been tradition for children to stay and relax at Uralkali’s Uralskiye Samotsvety country camp (Solikamsk, Perm Region), and the Vita health camp located on the Black Sea coast (Anapa, Krasnodar Region). Furthermore, 270 children will be able to spend their summer at Druzhba, a municipal health camp in the suburbs of Berezniki, Perm Region, for the first time.
During the summer period, 816 children in total, aged from 7-12, will visit Uralskiye Samotsvety, with four 21-day long shifts organized. Uralskiye Samotsvety features all essential amenities for a variety of sporting activities and opportunities to relax: an indoor swimming pool, a club, an outdoor performance stage, and various playgrounds. Those on holiday will stay in buildings (in four person rooms) with modern facilities, and meals will be served five times a day in the camp. The summer campaign will be held in accordance with the sanitary and epidemiological requirements established by Rospotrebnadzor, which are being applied to the organization of recreational activities and in activities helping to provide children with health improvement.
In the Vita health camp in Anapa, 824 children aged from 9-15 years will also be able to relax and participate in activities to improve their health. Children will also be allocated four shifts each per 21 days.
The holiday package price for Uralkali Group employees to send their children to the Uralskiye Samotsvety children's health camp and Vita health camp will amount to no more than 10% of the standard cost. The rest of the expenses for summer vacations for the children of employees will be covered by the Company as part of the social benefits package.

This year, over RUB 97 million will be allocated to finance leisure and health activities for children.
