Uralkali allocated almost RUB 1 million to purchase presents for first-graders of Berezniki and Solikamsk. More than 3,500 children received a “Potash Journey” boardgame and “Uralkali” jigsaw puzzles.

In the run-up to Knowledge Day, the Company arranged entertainment shows for employees’ children to go to school for the first time this year. Uralkali also presented every one of the 800 children with gift cards worth six hundred roubles each, which can be used to buy school supplies.

Irina Konstantinova, Uralkali Head of HR and Communications, commented:

Knowledge Day is a very important event for first-graders. It marks the beginning of a new stage of life that will be full of wonderful discoveries and impressions. Gift-giving and celebratory festivities for our employees’ children shortly before the 1st of September is an important element of Uralkali’s benefits package. In addition, the Company usually gives presents to all the first-graders of Berezniki and Solikamsk. Our educational games will help children learn about Uralkali’s production and the jobs that people do in the Company.
